Re: UK Flood Warnings
THE REASON THAT SO MANY UK RIVERS ARE TURNING INTO INLAND LAGOONS IS BECAUSE THAY ARE NOT DREDGED ANYMORE ROUTINELY AND FOR HUNDREDS OF YEARS THEY WERE PREVIOUSLY.

All UK rivers like Bridgenorth, Worcester and Bewdley were inland ports. The only reason that twee cottages and settlements could exists was because of the routine dredging and maintainence.

Heavy rain has always been a constant, so what has changed???

Basic lack of maintainence that allowed these inland communities to flourish. THAT IS IT!

This is some comfy doom considering what's going on in the world. Complaining about the weather is like the national sport here, so this will be fine.

Re: UK Flood Warnings
Well, actually, we've had warnings of danger to life as we're about to receive 1 months worth of rain in 1 day, up and down the UK... the southern parts of UK being affected mostly, I bet...

That's pretty drastic and hazardous, if you ask me...

That's without the mention of the extreme high winds and freezing weather on top of all the rain...

It's going to be one hell of a ride this one!... or is that one hell of a float down the streams?

Then add another round of heavy rain and wind = ?
I'm just trying to make folks in the UK things are going to get worse for a week or so...
