I actually somewhat agree but to campaign on the promise of disbanding the elderly is absurd, slippery and evil. What's next? Babies? Children? Mentally challenged? We are MEASURING quality of life to justify treatment now? We are MEASURING quality of life to justify treatment now? The thing is a person at that age will accept whatever treatment the doctors and children tell them to take on. My dad at 84, before he died, confessed he wished he had just told the doctors "no" when they kept doing surgeries to keep him alive. He said it was a painful experience to gain a little more time. |
