Did you not see how it simply vanished from view in miliseconds? There is no other known thing with such launch velocity. This would indicate a hypersonic interceptor rocket which can probably shoot down incoming ballistic missiles with greater precision and confidence than any known technology of it's competitors. The quest for certainty blocks the search for meaning. Uncertainty is the very condition to impel a man to unfold his powers. |

Quoting: Sodbuster Though Russian media hailed the test as an impressive demonstration of Russian military power, it’s not exactly clear why this is so. looks fake to me like a video game fake? I suppose, anything can be faked these days, but it looked pretty real to me. Anonymous Coward User ID: 78462659 United States 02/17/2020 03:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Russia has tested a new anti-missile interceptor. Quoting: Sodbuster Though Russian media hailed the test as an impressive demonstration of Russian military power, it’s not exactly clear why this is so. The way to make a really fast missile would be to use static electricity. IIRC, Tesla considered static electricity to be the opposite of gravity. Fly ash has static electric properties. Fly ash is made up of singlet elements of oxygen wanting to couple with the geranium found in coal dust. The dust has traces of gold in it, which is a great conductor of a special kind of electricity, known as piezoelectricity. 'Piezo' is electricity made from pressure on the substance. Although gold has a heavy density, the electrical awakening of the gold allows the gold fly thru the air. This makes me ponder how one would capture or contain the fly ash gold as part of something you'd want to lift off the ground. Solve that question, and you've got yourself a lift assist or a very fast rocket. Would putting the singlet oxygen into a vacuum next to the geranium - similar to two chemicals that combine to make a strong glue - and then puncturing the storage packet do the job? |

Ordinary rockets take some time to get to speed. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78347676 Sounds like they have mastered the tech on how to make a missile behave in a silo the same as a bullet does in a rifle/handgun... Using back-pressure most effectively. Or, they might be using electro-magnetic rail-gun tech to get that thing up to hyper-speed from the launch start.. Hmm.. Let me ask some General Dynamics engineers...
