As I wrote earlier in the thread the vibe on the ground at the track is exceedingly from.

Relatives told me a half hour ago that the crowd was discussing how Newman was in deceased. They are saying it will be a literal miracle if he survives this according to eye witnesses.

But still the general vibe os that he has passed away.

Joe Gibbs, the owner of Denny Hamlin's car issued an apology for the way his team acted and celebrated like nothing was wrong.

I think he was pissed, They said he was walking down pit road with his head down while team was celebrating and Denny doing burnouts

I was an intern for a large, public facing company much like Nascar. This is exactly what is told to all affiliates when someone passes away suddenly.

yes, like I said before the fuel fire did not reach him but the sparks from the sliding down the track could have if his helmet really came off. otherwise the firesuit would have prevented any burning from that

What a dangerous sport. He was 42 in December. Has a pretty wife, who is also 42, and they have two little girls.

I never really followed these races, but I watched yesterday because President Trump was there. I cannot believe, at those speeds, how closely they follow and bump each other.

My biggest pet peeve is when someone tailgates me on the road. Whether I'm going 35 or 65...I hate it! That's when I cuss.

Daytona update: multiple reports indicate Ryan Newman was AWAKE when they were helping him out of the car and that he was rushed directly into the trauma center of the local hospital. Still praying! #NASCAR
