Just had two teenage boys grow up.
Mormon church around here pretty much required them to be in it. We played along with it for awhile before I realized HOW FAUKING AWFUL IT WAS!!!!!!

I enjoyed being a Boy Scout back in the 70s. I was proud to wear the uniform with all the patches and awards etc. I even wore it in a school photo.

Nothing ever happened to me while I was in, gaywise.

When I heard what they did, my stomach turned. If my son were old enough today to join, I wouldn't have let him.

The gay stuff resulted in the Catholics and Mormons leaving the scouts organization. That killed it.

There is talk of a new organization similar to BSA that will be run by the Catholic, Mormon, and Southern Baptist churches.

Huh? Seems like the Catholics would have supported it even more.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (aka Mormon Church, but please don’t call is that) has its own new program. It’s not starting a new thing that I know of. Leaving Scouting saves the Church $60 million per year. My friend’s father works in the church accounting department.

What kind of father needs a “scouts program” to teach anything to their kids?

This thing was rife with pedophiles forever. If you doubt it look around for the leaked spreadsheet from around 10 years ago or so where the upper management had logged all of the pedophiles in it. It was like 2000+ people if I recall correctly with a record of heinous crimes.

These pedos put themselves in positions where they have access to children, that is just what they do. But the problem was that the upper elements of the organization circled the wagons and covered it up to protect their own livelihoods rather than made efforts to protect the kids.

Then they went woke under pressure which completely finished them off.

Would you put your kids in boy scouts and risk them getting molested or would you spend $500 on camping gear? The choice seems pretty obvious.

There must be other smaller scout organizations right?

The scouts program is for the teamwork, comradery and friendship between scouts. You kinda need a program for that. You wont get it just getting lessons from their father. And the uniforms and badges add an element of belonging and achievement.

This makes me very sad and upset. Just another sign of the death of America. Boy Scouts of America was an icon of traditional America.

Scouting is a great opportunity for kids to learn team work and survival skills, many great organizational activities. The majority of kids involved in scouting have benefited greatly from those activities.
That said, we can hope for reorganization in the bankruptcy.

Just like they wrecked baseball and pro football and NASCAR.

They are destroying American Passtimes. It’s straight out of the communist manifesto. They infiltrated the boy scouts with their queers and raped the children.

Whether most realize it or not, it was a deliberate act of war against the heart of America.

Now guess the last name of the man who came up with the attack plan.

I enjoyed Scouts in the 70's, I experienced nothing but positive.

Was all about God and Country and survival skills from how to build shelter out of trees to how to stay warm on the yearly polar bear camping trip. Simple things from camp fire cooking to swimming to community service.

We did a monthly paper and glass drive recycling glass and newspaper to fund our trips.

All this is a shame as Scouts was 100% GOOD! Nothing dirty or bad about anything that I experienced.

The old devil is at work, attacking anything good and making it perverted.

I for one took the Scout law and oath very seriously, I for one feel the young men of today need more of this and lets face it, many a young man have no father to teach them any of the good stuff!

I realized long ago that it’s allll conditioning the youth for military, police and or civil service.

Better-off sending your son to choir practice to “stay behind” so he can “help the priest”

And just so everybody knows, it’s NOT fun anymore, there are sooooo many rules nowadays, very little camping, the older scouts HATE it, and most the leaders hate it too,(unless they are their to molest)

Take your own kids camping and you teach them what you want,
I also found it was a way to separate families from being together more.
Scouts would meet up to two- three times a week and weekends.
If I could go back I’d tell them to go to hell!

Back when they started saying the boy scouts had to have gay scout masters I knew the end was near for the boy scouts.
