The whole Bitcoin hysteria has turned out to be a total flop.
Worth half of what it used to be, tracked and taxed, and with many more suspicions than ever.

No to all of that. Not anonymous, taxed, fees, etc. All opposite to what was touted.

Until halving. New floor will then be ~6k2 regardless of technical analysis and you'll never see bitcoin drop below that level ever again.

@OP, bitcoin still worth 50 000x more than when i started using it in 2011 at 20 cents. What a flop!

if someone was to offer me, for free, 1,000.- worth of bitcoin, or 500.- worth of gold, it would be an easy decision.

i'd take the 1,000.- in bitcoin, sell it immediately, and buy 1'000.- worth of gold.

You started with it because it was supposed to be anonymous, tax free, and easily and widely usable. All wrong.

You just happened to get lucky that it went up but it is not what you were told when you bought it.

Yeah, and after you ended up giving them your total identity along with mugshot so you can be taxed and tracked, you might end up with more than $500 in gold. LOL.

Yes, it's tracked, in the USA.

Taxed... in the USA.

Sorry but the USA isn't the entire planet, and it's just 4% of Earth's population.

Bitcoin is strong as ever and will just get stronger.

Nah, it's an excellent idea.

If cash is done away with Crypto currency will take over.

I can take advantage of that now...or miss out on it blasting past our expectations.

They have faster money transfers and are way more secure than traditional banks.

I'll keep my crypto...and I'm looking forward to seeing where it's going.

if people think of a BTC address as their "bank account number" then it helps them make more sense of it
