If you wash a mask or spray it with something like alcohol it will destroy the electrostatic charge and 8t will no longer work. The filter only needs to be fine enough that the passing virus gets close enough to the fibers in the mask for them to attract them. |

They are much higher quality then the 3M masks They are called Inovel 3000. I paid 12.99 for a box of 20 I’ve got a case of those. Bought them in 2014 when Ebola made it to Texas.
