The purpose for the constitution is to keep the gov't in check.

The main purpose of the 2A is to provide a check and balance to the gov't.


We the people should have access to the most advanced weapons with no limitations at all.

The US has not been invaded because we have a gun behind every blade of grass.

However, The indians had a bow behind every blade of grass and it did them no good because there weapons were inferior.

If we no longer have effective weapons to check and balance the Gov't our republic dies.

I know, I just need sources (other than website forums) to be able to cite on the 4-5 page paper I gotta write. I know my school, like all school are liberal as hell but I honestly don't give a fuck. It said to write about something your extremely interested in and gun rights are that. I own several guns but I am looking to cite how taking away guns (one liberty) is the beginning of taking all the liberties like hitler,maduro,china, etc..

You're wasting your time kid. Your lib professors already know why they want to take the guns away. They want to take over and put you on your knees begging and cringing for mercy with no other option but to obey them. That's the plan.

To show them examples of where it worked, is only going to encourage them. That's exactly what they want.

I say change of plans... write about Francisco Franco winning the Spanish Civil War and executing a couple hundred thousand rat communists after it was over. Make sure you note that it was really a communist revolution more than it was a civil war and Franco was the hero for liberating his country.

Glorify him and the result, 40 years of peace, prosperity and stability. That's how you really piss off your lib professors.

Go to your local library and get several books on subjects you are interested. Sometimes you have to hold history to fully absorb it. I understand it is a new Internet era, but history can be changed with a few key strokes and an F8 key.

Older textbooks paint a better picture.
