This is one of the more mystifying aspect of Trump supporters. You know Russia helped Trump in 2016. You know they'll do it again since his re-election is in their national interest. Many of you come out open and explicitly say that if it comes to a choice between Russians and democrats, Russians win every day of the week. And that's understandable. Russian culture is much closer to yours than the rootless cosmopolitanism of the big democrat held cities. Even their political system is something Trump aspires to recreate in the USA (their system now, not communism obviously).


Yet you still vehemently deny them helping Trump. I'd understand if you were a public figure on TV or posting an op-ed. The optics of Russia helping Trump aren't necessarily great to all and every segments of population. But you not on TV. If you'd admit it here that Trump receives and has received Russian help, you are ok with that and actually consider it savvy tactics to coordinate with them, it would have practically zero chance of backfiring. So what's the problem here?

(Yeah I know there are some people that say this openly. But many people keep denying all this. And this denial, to reiterate is only meant for public consumption. There's no need to resort to it here. Not really.)
