Presently, the ill individuals are doing well and self-isolating at home, while being monitored for symptoms by the Public Health Communicable Disease Surveillance and Control Unit. Close contacts of these individuals will also be quarantined at home and monitored for symptoms by Public Health staff. With the amount of foreign travel by county residents, including travel to China, it is not surprising that a case has emerged locally. Additional cases may occur either in returning travelers or their close contacts.' Translation- It's here. Saddle up Live slow and die deplorable.....and wash your hands |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78862180 Costa Rica 04/30/2020 09:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hmmm, yet they can't seem to isolate the virus, and only have its RNA, yet have never properly separated it from a sample, or observed it attacking cells and replicating, let alone via air. They don't have the virus shell en toto, only a 'piece' of its RNA, and can only find unproven, uncorrelated 'antibodies' they claim came AFTER the virus. All 'studies' being posited as 'proof of virus' use a fallacious 80% false-positive PCR test to 'prove' the virus has spread. This isn't science. The fraudulent 'airborn' study posited as evidence didn't even use a control, and took a tissue sample of a patient (presumably said to be infected via PCR), sprayed it onto something, and waited three hours for it to die. Yet, no CONTROL showing ANY baseline blood sample might do that very thing was used, and absolutely ZERO evidence was gathered proving it pathogenic. The studies are garbage, the PCR test is useless. They fail to isolate the virus via the centrifuge, and simply mix a tissue sample with lab fluids and antiobiotics, which produce exosomes of their own accord, which may or may not produce the same 'viral' proteins. Then, again, they use a fallacious PCR test to 'prove' it spread into monkey Vero cells, when they never even isolated the virus in the first place. Most of the time, they're just doing this with computer models, or 'rebuilding' the sample via RT-PCR, which is fallacious since they aren't even working with the actual virus. A PCR test was built for DNA, not RNA, and absolutely should NOT be used for detection of a virus. RT PCR claims its amplification method using fluorescence to highlight pathogen population can pin down the number to a single molecule. However, the test results are off by a factor > 3 as for example if a particular pathogen load is tallied at 80000 the actual mumber could be 20000 or lesser. Besides, to begin with, one should know the baseline fluorescence number of the of the pathogen in the primary isolate before amplification cycles can begin. Prior to RT-PCR, the initial steps would entail confirmation of the pathogen from electron microscopy and isolation of pure sample of the germ from alleged diseased tissue. Nothing is definitive about the quantification. It’s primarily mathematical fudge and human subjectivity. As for the RT-PCR qualitativily dentifying specific DNA sequences of the pathogen (in this case, SARSCoV-2 RNA virus) in the primary isolate under scrutiny..the claim is fraught with several limitations like contaminants, cross pathogen activity, pathogen debris, human cellular material, fallibility of human judgement etc. Talking in terms of symptomatic, asymptomatic, positives, negatives, false negatives and false positives is jargon and ambiguity. The main criterion is whether a disease has actually manifested or not in patient as then only can treatment commence because suppression (not cure) of the disease symptoms is the cherished aim. The RT-PCR is on shaky ground and is wrongly touted as an accurate diagnostic tool. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78768759 Netherlands 04/30/2020 10:03 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | How ironic and predictable. Less than a day after the Humbolt County Sheriff gave Governor Newsom the finger... April 30, 12:20 p.m. Humboldt County Sheriff William Honsal announced his "firm opposition" to Governor Gavin Newsom's reported order to close beaches and state parks across the state. "As Sheriff, I am the protector of constitutional rights in Humboldt County,” he said in a Thursday tweet. "And if an order is issued that I believe violates our constitutional rights, I will not enforce it.” Honsal did not specify which constitutional right he believed was being violated by the order, but Governor Newsom clarified later Thursday beaches and state parks will be closed in Orange County only. The county's beaches drew large crowds over the weekend. Early studies regarding outdoors transmission do not appear to support the governor's order. [link to www.sfgate.com (secure)] |
