I say bad but what I really mean is unnecessary.
My case in point is a person I know was having 'tinnitus' issues. Usually accompanied by an ear infection.
Doctor referred to hospital who scanned the brain and found extra brain cells. Which were apparently benign. Ear infections eventually stopped after person took to wearing earplugs when swimming.
However, hosptial decided to double check on the brain cells, so subjected the individual to further scans, more detailed this time and potentially dangerous.
Potentially dangerous!!!
And totally unnecessary.
Person is now worried soemthing is wrong with the brain.
No symptoms. No dizziness, no headaches, no vision defect, etc etc. No problems. Fairly healthy overall and hard working. Fairly intelligent too. Brain function is fine.
But like I pointed out, they have these fancy machines, so they have to use them. Of course you will find brain cells in the brain. Just because someone has a few more brain cells, it's not a problem.
If it aint broke, dont fix it!!!!
I bet the Amish dont have these problems.
