When you consider that the 1 case from Washington state and the 2 cases from Illinois all had to be hospitalized, once the available hospital beds are filled, the remainder of those 20% would then become fatalities!

In Ameeica, to save money, the city water utilities only store 12-14 days of chlorine or similar to purify the water. More and they would need additional inventory warehousing plus tie up money in that.

Okay. So this means they MUST be able to draw chlorine on a regular basis so they can keep up and not have issues with pathogens in the water supply.

But in a supply chain crisis, or if there are issues due to absenteeism where truckers are sick, or warehouse workers,or utility workers,etc,then the city water could be compromised.

It honestly could happen where first you would need to boil your water to ensure safety. No big deal.

But, the same thing could happen with the electric and natural gas utilities too. Now you might not actually have water pressure and have to get water or boil it outside with a campfire.

According to studies, the average American has 10-14 days of food,but much of that is in their freezer. If they lost their freezer contents,they have very little. Power outage would serious impact their survival during an emergency.

How much food do you have? In light of recent events, why are you NOT better prepared. If there is simultaneously a supply chain crisis,and there is
a serious life threatening contagion, why are you not stocked up? Is it rational to think you could go to the grocery if everyone is sick?
