Anonymous Coward User ID: 75958720 Canada 02/21/2020 10:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have all the symptoms and pneumonia. Plus r others with confirmed pneumonia in one house. one died cardiac arrest. If we all have influenza then it is just as bad as they are reporting for Coronavirus. I have been having heart palpitations or flutters all day today too. No clue if I’m going to make it. But if this isn’t Coronavirus, and it’s worse than this. I know I won’t survive |

Manager of girls and infants in my store) . Get your doctor to write you a note that excuses you for 3 or more days, if its 3 or more days you can get a leave of abcense through Sedwick...talk to your personnel coordinator/people lead or your store manager. I once was out of work for 4 days due to being sick. The leave of abcense made it so I got no points those days. I did have to use PTO time to make up the pay. Good luck! Most are vague ... supposedly intentional. Quoting: OnTheFence So what exactly are the symptoms of the Coronavirus? Any way to determine at home? Who can wait days/weeks for a test result? Either will recover or be dead during that time frame. Two weeks ago I had the flu: low fever, body aches, chills. I have bronchial asthma, so my lungs are a weak point for me when I get sick. But during that flu, I didn't have much in regards to respiratory crude ... a little but nothing I took special meds for. The flu/fever lasted 7 days. Then for the last week, my energy level increased and I felt pretty good. But always had a dry occasional cough. Well, today it's flourishing into a full head/chest crude, complete with body aches (especially in my osteo-arthritic joints) and low fever. I work at Walmart (yeah, I know) which we all know is a cesspool of germs. I'm out of absences available and can't afford to lose days to call out, or even lose my job. It's just a really bad time right now for my husband and I financially and we can't catch a break. But that's a story for another day. EDIT: forgot to add that I've been taking 20K IU D3 every other day, multi vitamin, minced garlic every day, and some really good black elderberry syrup (honey, ACV, grain alcohol that no you don't get drunk off of LOL). This is daily for me. So ... *shrugs* Do NOT take elderberry with CV. It can contribute to a cytokine storm and drown you in your own lungs. It is absolutely contraindicated for this virus. Instead, load up on sodium ascorbate (a special type of vitamin C), prilosec, and benedryl. Do NOT take corticosteroids, even with asthma. It will kill you if you contract CV. |

Quoting: NotStarvingActress Thanks, I haven't come across those posts. Any mention on the efficacy or danger of using elderberry as a preventative measure? |

It seems everyone over here had something that was all those symptoms. But we all fought it and we're better. All had nose issues and hard breathing and coughing too. We also have allergies too. Made it worse for some of us. Living has taught me one thing; nothing is certain...except salvation through Jesus Christ! |

(Ignore the fact it's aimed at veterinarians as the info is very relevant.) Of course elderberry is excellent for colds and illnesses that aren't Wu Flu. IF you have serious difficulty breathing immediately stop taking elderberry and honey and take the 3 classes of OTC drugs as recommended in previous threads. Two are normally for stomach flu or GERT/stomach pain. The other is a basic allergy medicine. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77432258 United States 02/22/2020 12:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OP, this bioengineered virus also attaches itself to other viruses, so it’s ability to mutate and present different symptoms in different hosts is wide ranging. Therefore, when you ask what the “exact” symptoms are, the answer is: there aren’t any “exact” symptoms. I myself have been experiencing “flu-like symptoms” the past 3 days, but this morning my kidneys and chest area were in so much pain that I was literally writhing in bed and my eyes tearing with the level of pain. Went to the ER and they acknowledged those symptoms were not typical of the flu so they ran a urinalysis, blood labs, a CAT scan, and an EKG. ALL tests came back normal with the exception that my white blood cell count was elevated but still within normal range. When I asked what the hell is causing this type of inflammation that’s putting me in excruciating pain, they shrugged and said, “We can only assume it’s a flu strain”. In other words.... even the doctors couldn’t determine the “exact” cause. . |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 77432258 United States 02/22/2020 12:10 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This one comes like a cold. But the virus tears up the lungs making them vulnerable to infection and pneumonia, which comes after one thinks they've gotten over a cold. Then the fever gets worse and the body shuts down. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 55611245 It’s like a 1-2 punch. The first punch ravishes the cells in the lungs, and the second punch is the resulting bacterial infection that causes pneumonia. . |
