Question about oracle cards

I bought a set just to mess around and they were pretty. I opened the box and was just looking at them and they said to sleep with them under your pillow for a few nights to get them used to you. I know, I laughed too. These were brand new, never used by anyone so if they really work no worries about someone elses mess coming with them. I have never seen a bat in person in my life and they are not around my area. It had been so cold did not have any windows open and I see this bat flying around my bedroom. My wife ran out screaming and we both slept on the couch until morning I figured it safer to fuck with the bat in daylight.

Is this bat a warning not to fuck with these things? I mean a bat is always associated more with like Halloween, evil things and so have tarot/oracle cards. So who or what would send a bat in the room I opened the cards in or could it be a demon taking form of a bat?

There are literally no bats around here EVER. I am on the fence on this. I believe if the wife or I would have brought one in on our backs we would have felt it correct?

Bats, not a fan I must say.
