Back in early 2011 I was researching Fukushima to see if it was anything to be worried about and came across a GLP link, then down the rabbit hole I fell. Was under a different handle then, left for a year and couldn't remember how to get to the old one again.

Edit: I was wrong, wasn't Comet Elenin that brought me here. Looking at comments I made, it was definitely Fukuskima that brought me here. Even bought rad tablets and hoarded food/water, bought some other supplies.

Fukushima. I was on a completely unrelated forum and one of the posters there kept referencing GLP and had info on how things were really going in Japan. I always had a healthy distrust of the MSM, but that event pushed me to start finding other sources of info.

Not sure how or exactly when I ran across this site originally (I definitely was not into conspiracy theories at the time), but I remember very extensive threads about doom flooding of some kind (I think it was on the East coast where I am located).

I remember exactly how I got here. It was 2010 or 2011 and I had just seen U2 in concert. U2 was my favorite band as a kid in the 80s (Joshua Tree/Rattle and Hum era—they lost me with Achtung Baby for some reason). I went to the show not because I loved them but because I knew I’d want to see my favorite childhood band while they were still close enough to their prime to be good. The album they were touring for was the mostly-forgettable “No Line on the Horizon.” I bought the album before the show so that I would know the songs.

They closed the show with a song from “No Line” called “The Moment of Surrender.” I listened to the song quite a bit for the next couple of weeks after the show. The song has a line where he says he was “kneeling at the alter of the dark star.” So I Googled the line and up popped five GLP threads about Niburu. Once I found the place, I’ve never really left. Good times.

Came here in 2010 or so when I was googling why Venus was getting so bright. First time I sniffed around I was like wtf is this bozo show. Came back another time, found it humorous and sometimes informative. Now I come for the cigarette girls and cheap drinks.
