I don't know what to make of Astrology. But, a few days ago a friend of mine wanted to run my birthday, exact time of birth, and location into an Astrology computer. What came out shocked me!

So, I'm a bull. In a general way that makes me stubborn, slow to anger, with a temper. I also like nice things, soft clothes, I'm fucking lazy, and I'll defend my friends to the end, but I choose my friends very carefully.

What freaked me out was how exact my Astrology report came out. It could not fit just anyone...no way. It was exact!

I'm curious now, because the Christian faith I was raised with treats Astrology as something evil, like black magic or something. Is it?

If you have something to share about your sign, or Astrology, post it here. I know very little about this "science" but I am amazed, stunned even, how accurate my report of me, the Taurus, came out. Not just any Taurus, but by my exact time of birth and location. It nailed me.

Any thoughts?

I have no idea what a "rising sign" is. I'm considering going to see an actual Astrologer, but that costs money. How do I pick someone in my area? How do I know if my money would be well spent? Is it even worth it?

It sounds complicated, but if it could possibly help my life, I might be willing to invest the time, money and effort.

My question really is...How does this work and why?

For a detailed personal report you need your EXACT date of birth as some planets spin through your chart very quickly while others only change once every few years. The slow moving planets are ones that can affect a whole generation regardless of sun sign.

From what I've been told, sun sign is a very basic profile of people born in that month.
Rising sign is how you present to the world
Moon sign is how react emotionally to the world.

Rising and Moon signs particularly, are what makes Taureans or any sign different to others of the same sign.

Also people can be born a Taurean but have a lot of pertinent planets in Scorpio for instance so will look and react more like a Scorpio than a Taurean.

You hear it often that people don't feel like their like sun sign. Well probably because the rest of their chart is dominated by another planet or sign.

I'm a Taurus, too. I'm the furthest thing from lazy.
