I bought 6 months of freeze dried food back in 2009
Shelf life is apparently 20 years. I’ve kept it in my basement the entire time. Dehumidifier always runs in the summer so it’s a good environment for storage. I don’t want to have a to eat it..but I will if I need to.

More like 30yrs....quality and nutrition diminishes a bit but its fully edible....I tested some of my 25yr old FD and its fine....I also tried a can of 16 yr old spam....also fine tho the texture changed
