If you know there is a God then you should also know there is a good place and a bad place for people after they die, determined by their own choices.

Some people are happy, some sad, some good, some bad, and we see justice on earth, but the unrepentant will be punished after death and they will wish that they didn't waste their opportunity. They will wish they sought God and loved God more than everyone and everything. Because those in hell do.

If you think prison is suffering, as an eternal being you can't sleep or rest or drink or find comfort. Some are punished worse than others but it is all misery and pain on all levels.

No one can have sex, or become pregnant by eating an apple.

You did choose it. Hell is where you came from before here. You believed that it would be worth it, be better than there, and you believed God when he told you the way back to heaven was being born again as man.

It's not eternal, neither is the soul. Hell and the soul were created within the first 6 days of creation. Condemned souls and hell itself are thrown into the lake of fire, forever to be destroyed.

The whole part of heaven and earth passing away and Jesus making all things new lends to the fact souls and hell are not eternal. Everlasting punishment and eternal damnation are the cessation of the existence of the created soul. Immortality is a promise of God to those who are saved at the judgment.
