The death rate is not 2%, and you don't have to dig hard to find that information. Every mainstream piece of news I've read for a month shouts it from the mountaintop. Even at 2%, though, that's still 10-20 times higher than any flu virus death rate. If anything, the media are downplaying this virus as much as they possibly can. They aren't even attacking Trump about it which is what they do with every other piece of news, which makes their behavior even more suspicious. If they used every broadcast to talk about Trump's poor response to the virus, I would tend to agree, but they don't. As to "...not trying to get you to let your guard down," if I believed everything Rush believes about this, that's exactly what I would doing. If it was actually less dangerous than the flu, hell, I don't even get a flu shot, and if I don't worry about the flu, I certainly wouldn't worry about something less dangerous than the flu.
