I think you’ve got it backwards....parks are closing because of the CV pandemic. There will me further closures coming down the pike. Disney is about to suffer MASSIVE losses. It’s likely Iger is leaving to A) protect his legacy. The virus is a black swan, but it will sink the captain of the ship. And B) He now has cover and a HUGE payday to hit the bunker and ride out the coming storm.

I'm still not sure what to make of all these resigning CEO's. There's no news of them getting arrested or facing any sort of justice, so what gives? Is someone threatening them, or giving them the option of stepping down to avoid prosecution and potentially destroying an important company/brand? I just don't get it.

One of my friends is leaving on Friday this week for a family vacation with her spouse and kids. First half of the trip to be spent at the different theme parks, then second half of their trip will be spent on a cruise ship. She was so excited about it today, been saving money for a long time for a great vacation and it’s all paid off. Now she is just doing the whole countdown “three days to go” thing.

I was shocked and couldn’t believe my ears.

I asked her if she was worried about the coronavirus, especially with the big crowds at the parks and close quarters on the ship? She responded quickly by saying, “Oh you’re funny! Sad but a lot of people i know are finally getting their dream vacations or dream jobs with out of town training. I just reminded everybody today that TSA has new procedures in place for screening so make sure they dont cough or run even a degree of temperature because they can be put under investigation for the virus. I am not trying to scare them but want them aware.
