Message Subject Military rounding up Homeless?? Now they are gently putting us under Martial Law

I live near there. Actually lived on base in the 80's. Now I'm not saying below this is what happened, I'm just saying I've heard of this sor of thing before.

What typically happens in towns, is they do these periodical sweeps of the indigent populations and transport them to San Francisco time to time. Been going on forever.

Way for the Mayor and Sheriff to look like they're cleaning up the town, makes the council happy, pretty easy to do.

They don't "bribe" them with anything they just tell them to GTFO or go to jail. And they don't want to jail them so they send them all to SF. Used to be they'd buy them a Greyhound bus ticket and bus them out. I'm not sure how long this has been a policy for, but I've known about it for a long time. I remember they used to do this with the homosexuals as well going all the way back to World War II.

If you were in the military and found out to be gay, they would discharge you and leave you at port in San Francisco, no joke. This is a part of American History and one of the reasons that city turned out to be a Mecca of sort for that lifestyle.

Now my guess is, they're making a concerted effort to get them out of dodge as part of a controlled effort to contain potential vectors for the Covid virus. It makes enough sense to me to say this is probably the case, using Occam's Razor to guide me. Don't want to waste resources on the homeless, make them someone elses problem, easy 45 minute drive out of town and drop them off. Just pay the cost of buying some bags for their gear and maybe a bag lunch with an apple and a peanut butter sammich thrown in. Cheap solution to a potentially very expensive problem were they to get sick and start to require care in the ER. Who knows they may be considered already infected so better get em outta town fast.

I'd expect this area to be on a National list of potential upcoming hot zones, we got some of the first evacuees at the start of this, accounting for incubation periods, and the fact that one of the few people that have Covid-19 confirmed is just East in Sacramento, well this makes this area a very probable future hot zone/outbreak/epidemic site. Soon I expect to see this area in the news and part of the reason I've been getting the family here so ready to embrace our near future.

So clearing out the homeless pronto was on somebodies bullet list to take care of. Well...since it's actually something reasonable you can do to help your area mitigate potential risk honestly. It's a grim world we live in sometimes.

Just my thoughts on it, who knows.
