Post Corona Virus Symptoms and Locations Here
Just a suggestion because I don’t think this situation is being taken seriously by the media or even government.

This virus is going to spread quick. It would be interesting to see if what’s reported in this post starts matching up with what’s being reported on the news. Tonight I saw with my own eyes a “brief” mention on my local news station in Detroit about the infected person that got it from an unknown source (aka: no travel to China or infected countries and no direct “known” contact with people from infected countries). That story went by so quick and then right into the news conference where “everything is under control”. If you were not paying attention for a moment or two you’d have totally missed the story. I don’t even think it got 15 seconds.

So here I am.. just a citizen in Detroit Michigan. Within the past 24 hours a cough has cropped up. I’ve been coughing off and on a lot tonight. I don’t feel “sick” like it’s the cold or flu. I rarely ever get sick too... my nose is also starting to feel weird. Not runny but more of a cold sensation of air in my nostrils? I can breath fine too... I just feel cool air on the inside skin? I’ve been indoors in room temps - 68-75.

Some other “could it be this or that or nothing” symptoms:

The other day my legs felt wired for a moment - I can’t really explain that one. I didn’t fall down, my legs were not tingling, but for a moment it’s like I felt a moving sensation? But I felt totally fine afterwards.

my left eye also felt weird for a moment too one day recently. A feeling I may sometime get if I accidentally stare into my phone that’s turned up too max brightness in the middle of the nights (which would be explain the feeling). I always get a weird eyeball/eyelid sensation when that happens, but this was during the day under normal conditions.

So if you hear reports of some cases showing up in Detroit, it’s probably because I’m one of the people who doesn’t really know if I should go to the doctors to get tested for the virus? No one is telling anyone what to do. Sure, I could ask to get tested for the corona virus “just to be safe”, but how much would my insurance charge for a test like that? Some people don’t have the money to be tested.

So now because I don’t feel “sick” and it’s “just a minor cough”, I’ll continue to go into work, where I work in public education btw. So there’s that risk too - I could be making a bunch of college students in Midtown Detroit sick...?

How quickly this thread will evolve from useful in tracking and info to useless because of it being on our doorsteps rather than the internet.
