But, I myself and my buddies I work with come to work

sick all the time really. There is no one here to do

our jobs and sh*t happens everyday.

I myself took one day off, but the sickness lasted

at least two weeks.

I pounded vitamin C and oil of oregano along with my regular

supplements and it made me so much better quicker.

Drank lots of tea and water and chicken soup.


It doesn't hurt to ask before you go. They might say fine.

Tell your landlord too. Some people have compassion.

Sorry. That sucks, wearing a mask is a good idea. Yet going to work with an infection is not a good idea because that means that you're contagious.

Take lots of Vitamin C & D, drink water with fresh squeeze lemon and some cayenne pepper. Cayenne pepper kills anything in your throat.. gargle with 'pink' salt water.

Infections may require an antibiotic. If bronchial, pneumonia can occur which his not fun. Do you have a walk-in health clinic you can go to?

I feel for you, OP, but as others have said, it might just be the flu and you'll be ok in a week or two; on another note, why not try living next door in Arizona? The cost of living is so much lower, especially in Tucson .. you can rent a 2 bedroom apartment for $700 a month !

your health comes first, if that doesn't work for them, cough in their face.

If you go to work coughing and sneezing everyone will hate you and you will get fired. I would call the boss and tell then the situation. A lot of times if they know you would make the effort to come in they will understand. You may have to pay the rent late. It's not the end of the world.
