Without googling him, has anyone heard of a boxer named Gerald McClellan?

If so, do you remember what happened to him? I was watching the Wilder/Fury fight the other day and the Mrs was asking why they stop fights and when. I referenced the McClellan/Benn fight, which I remembered like it was yesterday. McClellan was one of my favorite up and coming boxers. Took a ton of damage in the ring, and died on live tv. Like they carried him out under a sheet. I went to look up info on it to tell her specifically how he died, I thought I remembered it being a ruptured aneurysm but wasn’t positive. What I found out shook me a a bit. He’s not dead? Fell into a coma, blind, deaf, and crippled now, but alive. I very vividly remember him dying on tv that night.
