I think it’d probably more of a defense tactic so President Trump won’t put a poor senile old man in jail. Just like with Hillary’s fainting spells, an act so she could claim she isn’t well and so shouldn’t be prosecuted!!

I've thought something was wrong with him since Obummer admin. They kept him out of the limelight for a reason. Dementia seems to be a good one. Makes up stories he is convinced happened. Can't remember where he is. Something very wrong with that man.

He had brain surgery many years ago. Could be a combination of surgery and dementia.

I went to a reunion a few years ago and talked with a high school girl friend I hadn't seen since high school.

When we were in high school, she was in an exclusive relationship with a guy who had already graduated. I remember he was a big guy...always regarded as a star football player. They were so devoted to each other and eventually married.

At the reunion, this girl told me he had Alzheimers in his early 40's! He didn't recognize her or their children. He died in his early 50's. I never realized the disease could affect someone so young.

I have Lewy body dementia so I know. Biden is off his rocker and should not even be allowed to run for President. There is no way on Gods green earth that he doesn’t have dementia of some sort.
My wife says I’m like Einstein compared to Biden, that’s some scary shit because I’m dumb as shit now. I forget everything and my judgement is horrible. I can barely run my household.

Of course he has dementia. That is OBVIOUS. I mean.....OBVIOUS.

I've taken care of relatives with dementia for the past 20 years. As in...MORE THAN ONE. So I've seen a lot of crazy shit. The kind of stuff Biden is saying, and his angry attitude, reminds me of my FIL who would just make up crazy shit or crazy words and who would get angry and hostile because he was scared of what was happening to him and didn't understand it.

I can sympathize with Joe Biden, but he's not fit to be POTUS. THIS IS OBVIOUS and it shocks me how the media will not openly discuss this obvious medical issue. It's not shameful - or shouldn't be - to get dementia, or senility as it used to be called. It could literally happen to any of us especially with his medical history. But we can't have someone like him running seriously for President. It's ludicrous and dangerous.

I didn't watch the embedded clip, but I (and others I know) have been saying for some time that the man appears to have Alheimers, or something similar. I agree, it's just embarrassing for the US to allow him to keep speaking.

My FIL had LBD and I salute you, sir. You are a very brave man. LBD is a hard disease to handle and he had it for a pretty long time. He had a lot of challenges anyway and like Biden, had had serious head injuries (his was as a soldier in WW2). He was such a strong person, and such a fighter all the way. The most difficult thing with him was his anger. My mom, OTH, had Alzheimer's and she was very sweetly confused. She would get upset at times, but I could calm her down and she was an agreeable person generally.

As I say, I sympathize with Biden even though I think he's a bad person but we shouldn't keep pretending that he could actually be POTUS. Stress is very bad for dementia and can hasten it and running for POTUS is the most stressful thing ever. Obviously his family doesn't care about him or they'd want to take him home so his struggle would not be public and to get the kind of care and attention he needs.

It's sad to watch.

Obviously Biden is in the early stages of dementia or he would not be able to perform as well as he has during the debates. But the stress of running for POTUS could well hasten his disease and make it run more quickly. He needs to go home and the media needs to start being HONEST and discuss this openly.

It is no surprise that 78 year old people would have some signs of senility or dementia. It's not uncommon. I suspect Bernie might have some of it himself especially with his angry attitude towards everything. It's not just about forgetting or getting words wrong, it affects people emotionally too.

Thank you. I have Parkinson’s and developed Lewy Body 9 years ago. I was lucky enough to go through stem cell treatment but it only helped a little. LOL! I don’t shake like a rattler anymore but I’m still bye everything else.
Life is good. We all have suffering and pain to deal with but we can still find a way to have peace. I would still not trade my experience for anything, sickness and all.

I did go back and watch the clip ---- this guy (the host) is quite funny, and he also makes some really good points.

Joe stopped in the middle of that sentence and asked "Why am I stopping" to turn his confusion into a joke. He had lost track of what he was saying and couldn't recover it, which can happen to anyone but not repeatedly. I think what people at the early stages of dementia may try to do is to cover it up with jokes. People with other serious illnesses who are in denial may also try to cover up their condition but just pleading clumsiness or poor eyesight. But when someone keeps making mistakes over and over...well....it is what it is.

I have to admit...."home boners" is pretty good. 4 stars for that one!
