Anonymous Coward User ID: 75227965 United States 02/28/2020 06:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | in 60 years, most of the junk culture of the post WWII era will not be rembered by anyone alive at that time. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77192746 I disagree. Beethoven, mozart, etc are still celebrated artists and some from the 20th century will be remembered and played. The actual stuff being made right now won't be remembered, especially rap. Here's an 80 yo song followed by 1936 Louis Prima's Sing Sing Sing. Louis Prima played(voiced/sang) King Louie In Disney's Jungle Book. I like the music in the video, but it is disturbing to see the three singers dressed like strippers. Why is it that female singers are supposed to wear bras, short shorts and skimpy french cut leotards to expose an insane amount of flesh while the average male singer wears jeans and a t-shirt? I'm pretty sure that women have chosen it that way. They know they rule the world by being the sex provider. They want to look cute and sexy. If men came out dressed like that, I would walk out because it would be too queer for me. Sexy and streetwalker are not one in the same. With female singers today, twerking and showing more skin are often substitutes for talent. I think the ladies in the video have beautiful voices. It seemed a little surreal to see a 75 year-old song my grandmother loved performed in what looks more like underwear, making the singers look like prostitutes hitting on men in uniforms. |

You know this one If you go to Winslow AZ. There is a statue because of this song. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72430464 I was 5 years old in 1990, I only know of songs from the 40's and 50's because of Fallout 3, New Vegas and Fallout 4. It is a real shame, some of the popular songs from Fallout 4, the artist died a year or so before release. Would of been a kick to see their songs enjoyed by millions again, but ehh.... |
