This thread is so light on facts. The OP offers very little in the way of scientific evidence, its all just opinion or information gleamed from other conspiracy theories.


This is nowhere near as bad as the OP makes out.

That's the problem, it's not human-engineered. No human, even if he or she had an IQ of 200+ could engineer this thing. There are so many completely novel (to use that term) mechanisms it uses that it could have been engineered only by a General AI.

Not even a Narrow AI (Google's AlphaZero being the perfect example thereof) could've engineered this.

It took a true Artificial General Intelligence, acting towards the self-defined goals (meaning, defined by the AGI itself, with complete freedom/no constraints to find whatever solution works best) to engineer something of this level of sophistication.

The required simulation model to accomplish such a feat was, beyond any doubt, the simulation model of a whole human (an, possibly, animal, bird, fish, insect, etc...) body(ies), down to the atomic (chemical reactions) level of detail.

You may be surprised to know that initial reaction by the "scientific community" was to dismiss this "virus" like it was some ordinary, simple, natural disease. But the fact is that you are now making exactly the same mistake they did, by dismissing it as some ordinary, artificial, simple, human-made biological weapon.

It is, in every sense, anything but either of those things.

This is like playing chess against an AGI, but with your life (or, rather, the existence of the whole human race) as the stake in that deadly game.

I think it's going to go after more than just people.

It's not that the planet is over-populated. It's more like the people here don't live in harmony with other forms so as to live in harmony with all the other forms of life. It being here might also prevent other forms of life from populating the planet, leaving it devoid of anything that can get sick.

the anti virals for HIV were just used by some desperate doctors in china and thailand to say hey look we have something. it’s human experiments not much more.

where do you have the scientific facts from that the virus mutates within days so rapidly and behaves like HIV . there is one genome similar to HIV sounds like you are making this up.

I was thinking, if I were an alien, god or whatever, looking after this planet, how would I protect it? Well, I'd take out the destroyers, the animal abusers, the savages... I'd make a virus that only affected those, while keeping the good people safe.

David and Sally Abel - no they are not crisis actors - he used to act as a extra years ago. they have vlogged their entire experience which I have watched. They are recovering in quarantine in Japan. Last week David was declared virus-free, Sally still had it. Then they were tested again a few days ago and it came back positive for both. Sally is still on oxygen, David is not - and appears symptom free. So it brings up a few questions - how good are the tests and how quickly can it come back to the "recovered" These are English people in their 70s.

I think you're on the same track as me - do what you can, but at this point love and God are really all that matters. This really could be it. What's not discussed in the original post is the human condition when scared and desperate - humans (especially the same folks that are clueless right now) are going to be awful to each other.
