I'm sure I could survive for a few months on what I have right now especially if the power doesn't go out and the freezer continues to work (and running water isn't impacted).
However I'm going to go to the grocery store for the last time in a while to refill on a prescription medication and I want to do a last big purchase of supplies.
I'm not really into the prepping lifestyle even though I believe in it so I am a little ignorant of everything that I should get myself.
I think I'm good as far as supplements to help combat sickness if I get it (Vitamin c, apple cider vinegar, raw honey, turmeric etc).
I plan on getting some rice and canned beans. I also I'm going to majorly stock up on these fruit/veggie pouches that my two-year-old likes anyway (they don't need to be refrigerated until opened and they are single serving pureed fruits and vegetables with just lemon juice and vitamin c).
I was wondering what other foods people suggest I stock up on.
Also what's a good emergency kit I should have. I will probably do a big Amazon order today for like a flashlight, batteries etc.
Anyway you guys all seem like the right people to ask because I'm sure you have some great suggestions I haven't thought of.
