This will be the start of the great industrial revival for the USA


One door closes and another opens. We can do it responsibly.

Really we need decentralized manufacturing through home use 3d printers

All of the America's, North and South, no more China and producing things overseas. Its a risk to our national securities and plain stupid to our economy.

We don't have to build factories,just retool the old ones.Every small town in America has run down factories from our golden age.Gary,Pittsburgh all have old steel mills.

I would start with community owned factories.
Where companies can lease production times rather than ship products half way around the world.

A similar design in factory buildings so if you been in one the others will be about the same. So specialty manufacturing teams can use them with little disruptions for ease of manufacture.

Design products in a way that will allow for upgrades and local repair shop fixes.

Cars and trucks should be of the skateboard design allowing other manufactures parts to be on the vehicle.

3D printers should be the norm for replacement parts not repairable.
You only need by the design license per print needed.
Saving the world on warehouse space.

Yes this is exactly what I mean by responsibly Make it consumer friendly, not hostage to the corporation

Problems in supply chain will
Lead to a RE industrialization of the USA

If Affordable healthcare no unionized labor is possible. definitely China lost its luster with this crisis

just bulldoze detroit and start over
