Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 16990866 United States 03/03/2020 02:22 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I just left Sams in the Houston area. They had very few water bottles. Quoting: NNA2012 However.. I can’t help but wonder how their stock was impacted by the water break and boil notice that we had last week. Thanks for letting me know! I would expect more populated areas would be sold out such as the Houston area. I live in the Rosenberg area and all water is gone today! Yesterday has "some" on the shelves but i decided to check this morning and now the shelves are EMPTY. Weird.... would be nice if others on here from other states jump in on this thread.. I would love to know whats going on with the water supply in NY, Cali and PA or it doesn't matter what state just list your state and let me know what your water supply in stores look like. Thanks guys! |

Thanks guys! >>>>>><<<<<< Over the weekend people were filling up carts of water at Southern California Walmart’s. At the time I picked up 2 cases, water was still available Saturday. Sunday, Hydrogen Peroxide, hand sanitizers, Excederine Headache, Gloves & Lysol Wipes were sold out. He is the Way, Truth & Life~ We are living in a world of constant, extensive & continuous LIES. Anonymous Coward User ID: 76363851 United States 03/04/2020 12:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If you want water, turn on the faucet and get all you want for FREE! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23531633 Well, not free but... I'm not sure why people buy "bottled water" that has sat in plastic jugs for who knows how long. Tap water is very inexpensive, and analysis show bottled water (from a factory) is not somehow magically more pure or special than what comes out of your tap, unless you live over a fracking zone or have an Erin Brokovich problem with your water supply. If you have doubts, take a sample and get it tested. That's a lot less expensive than buying "bottled water" that 9/10ths of the time is just tap water from the factory anyway. You can get several 55 gallon drums used from the food service industry. These can be easily sanitized with bleach and you can store tap water in them for pennies - compared to what you would spend on a few hundred cases of bottled water from Walmart or Costco. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 56255546 United States 03/04/2020 01:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Saw a video showing the stores in Texas mostly out of water and would like to know if anyone can confirm this if you live in Texas. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 16990866 Water seems to be SOLD OUT at Walmart, Kroger, and other stores. Because of this coronavirus alot of people have been stocking up for 3 weeks now it seems. Its very strange to me! I hear even some stores are raising their water prices! Yesterday I posted on my FB wall about that book from 1981 mentioning the Wuhan-400 virus in a novel and how it will affect others in 2020. Now get this.. I didn't even mention anything about coronavirus just about the book and FB censored it saying that I was posting false information.. How is a book from 1981 false information when I didn't even associate it with the virus? I feel they are covering up something huge that they do not want us to know about! We may be hearing a bunch of lies on the mainstream if you ask me. I live in a rich suburban area and when rick folks are stocking up they usually have some insider information that poorer people do not. The stores where i live are sold out of water. If you live in Texas could you confirm what the water supplies look like in your area? Im curious because I haven't checked any stores in the Houston area but would love to know. Appreciate it guys! Thank you in advance for your responses. Buying water is a lost cause. If you were to quarantine yourself (as a preventative measure), you would probably have to do so for 30 days or more. Considering that your water needs would equal that of refugee camp internees. You would be looking at about 300 gallons per person, to get through a month. Considering that this is for all uses; including cooking and hygiene, that is really not a lot of water. compared to most Americans monthly water usage. But far more costly than you would want to invest in by buying and storing store bought water. So getting some 55 gal drums and filling them yourself at home is a much preferable solution. Having enough clean water available to live and stay healthy is the preppers nightmare. Assuming that they have done the research and understand why 10 or so gallons, per person, per day, is the correct figure of you need and not the 1 gallon, a day, per person, that is often incorrectly touted as correct. The latter is for drinking only and only a short term, "lost in the woods", emergency, survival ration. |
