Has anyone ever experienced the "Hat Man"? A Dark Shadowy Image of a Man who Appears while you sleep?

Never seen the "Hat Man."

But, when I was a kid I saw little tiny people climbing my curtains. Some had helmets on like crew workers.

They were all over the place in my bedroom.

YES! Yes I have!! Way back in 1999 or 2000, I had a horrific case of pneumonia. It almost took me out of this world. I was sleeping in another room until the illness passed because I didn't want to make my boyfriend, now husband of 19 years, sick. I was delirious to a certain extent, I'll admit, but I know damn well what I saw.

My door was opened, and I saw a dark figure standing in the doorway. I said, I'm fine hun, just coughing it up, go back to bed." I went back to sleep. The next morning, I woke up and remembered, HE HAD SPENT THE NIGHT AT HIS FRIEND'S HOUSE.





Two days later I barely survived an asthma attack. I know what it feels like to die of suffocation. Real panicky and awful at first, but then very calm and vibrate-y...like taking a nitrous hit.

When Art Bell started talking about shadow people a couple years later, nearly drove my truck off the road. Think I told that story on the air actually.

Saw the hat man once many years ago while living in my condo. Had lots of strange occurrences there actually, it the hat man freaked me out. I was getting ready to try and fall asleep when I got the feeling I was being watched. I opened my eyes and there was about a 6 foot jet black shadow of a man standing at the foot of my bed watching me. Looked like a silhouette. I could see the outline clearly. He wore a fedora style hat and what looked like a trench coat. No facial features or any detail of his outfit. It was straight black but sharply outlined. I slowly pulled the covers over my head and pretended it wasn’t there, even though I knew it was. I was frozen with fear, couldn’t think of anything else to do. Next thing I know I’m waking up and it’s morning. I’ll tell you right now, I wasn’t dreaming, I was fully awake when I saw it.

That’s a negative ghost rider. I was fully awake.

My adult son did too among other things! He was living in an apartment.... They told the manager they were moving and why.... She told him that others have complaind too about seeing things...

My uncle experienced this. The man was sitting in a rocking chair in his home, he told the man to get out and so it went. My mother told me this story, I have never asked him about it. She said the man was darkness, it wasn't human.

Shadow of a a man wearing a hat walked around my bed. I was scared, but I turned on the light.

The shadow stayed on the wall for a 1/2 a second after light came on.

Totally freaky.

My mother saw something like this- walked right by her window. But he would have had to be floating in order for her to see him the way she did.

I believe him. Most people think it's nuts, but I wasn't the only one who saw them.

I've seen little shadow creatures at the foot of my bed trying to crawl up on top of me. They could stretch their arms really far and had little yellow slits for eyes and would disappear when I saw them or said Jesus's Name 3 times.
I've seen them more than once but not in the last 2 years thank God.
Yes they are real and I have seen pictures of them on several sites, drawings of the exact same things that total strangers have seen as well. So I ain't the only one.

Yep, when I was wide awake and in the living-room, one summer night before it went dark, almost 40 years ago. Scared me almost to death - seriously

Yup experienced hat man before I even knew there was a thing called hat man.

Used to watch me from the doorway. Long black overcoat. Black hat.
Never was frightened but just creeped me out.

Saw him a lot.. mostly when I was on the computer.

I saw the HAT MAN (it was more a TOP HAT) than the FEDORA everyone else experiences. Very creepy --- I was around 6 or 7 and saw a shadowy man with a BIG TOP hat surrounded by other shadow people standing at the end of the bed watching me. Totally freaked me out ... then decades later I started hearing about people all over the world seeing (dreaming?) a shadow being wearing a big hat. Weird?!
