The accurate way to do it is to use the information you have at hand rather than speculate on how those currently sick will fare at the end of disease. Dead/Dead+Recovered gives you the CFR. And if you take out China numbers ... and base your CFR on the cases outside China, then God help us all .... cause it's 5 times more than 4%!!!
