The flu that went around in 1991 was way worse than this and it was barely covered by the media until it had killed about 180,000 Americans. Even President Bush had it. He complained of walking pneumonia as well.
The difference is that there was no internet social media or billionaire cocksuckers trying to crash the market and buy it all cheap.
