I live in this area, the geoglyphs are cool but not even close in complexity for their formation and size compared to the Nazca ones.

This Entire area probably held a much larger population, there are signs this was much wetter around 14.000 years ago. There are some researchers following this ideas but thI’d desert is very efficient on erasing human activity, specially because it suffers periodic catastrophic flooding that is very destructive.
