Was out at many stores today in Northern New Jersey and....
Utter and complete normalcy.

No masks.

No panic.

No hint of panic.

Just folks living their lives. Spoke to many people (as I do daily at my own store) and not a mention of Corona, Covid, Wu Wu, flu or anything.

Actually when I think again, 2 customers in my store have mentioned it...in very joking manners.

Anyone else seeing total normalcy?

Re: Was out at many stores today in Northern New Jersey and....
I went out this morning. Landfill, tobacco shop & grocery.

At the grocery, there was a big palette in the cleaning/paper aisle of new stuff they were stocking. Lots of clorox & disinfecting stuff...but they were restocking the whole store at the time, too. It may have been a normal load.

At the landfill, they DID check my id to ensure I was a county resident. I've been going weekly for nearly 20y and that was a 1st.

All "normal" here in Ocean Atlantic county too.

So far, anyway.

Funny thing though.

The local Big Lots store had four out of five of their cash registers crap out after a power surge from a blown transformer that was five miles away.

China's having problems with their electrical grid because they don't have enough electrical workers on the job.

If that happens here, things won't be so "normal" anymore.

Mostly normal here except for:
- Coronavirus warnings on school board websites
- No hand sanitizer anywhere
- No masks

Apart from that there's me and maybe two of my close-by friends who are concerned and watching outside of the MSM. Thankful I always have, as I'm stocked, locked and ready for when the S hits the F. hf

Same thing in Florida...

Everything is normal.

I had a dentist appointment yesterday and nobody behaved odd or looked concerned.
