Anonymous Coward User ID: 73238748 United States 03/04/2020 09:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I went out this morning. Landfill, tobacco shop & grocery. At the grocery, there was a big palette in the cleaning/paper aisle of new stuff they were stocking. Lots of clorox & disinfecting stuff...but they were restocking the whole store at the time, too. It may have been a normal load. At the landfill, they DID check my id to ensure I was a county resident. I've been going weekly for nearly 20y and that was a 1st. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 67511492 United States 03/04/2020 09:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Utter and complete normalcy. Quoting: Halcyon Dayz No masks. No panic. No hint of panic. Just folks living their lives. Spoke to many people (as I do daily at my own store) and not a mention of Corona, Covid, Wu Wu, flu or anything. Actually when I think again, 2 customers in my store have mentioned it...in very joking manners. Anyone else seeing total normalcy? Hey I used to live in Mountain Lakes, NJ decades back. Which exit do you live near? |

Funny thing though. The local Big Lots store had four out of five of their cash registers crap out after a power surge from a blown transformer that was five miles away. China's having problems with their electrical grid because they don't have enough electrical workers on the job. If that happens here, things won't be so "normal" anymore. |
