Best music movies rollerskating riding bikes hide and seek kids had freedom and no computers. Favorite all time movies...Sgt. peppers lonely hearts club band...Peter Frampton and the beegees 1978, heaven can wait, and all the disco movies. Drive-ins and walk in theatres...all great! Always dream of those times...you could still find great seashells and sharks teeth on the beach! |

I still today have a Honda 110 trail bike. It climbs like a mountain goat and gets nearly a hundred miles a gallon. Until I did a bigger bore up grade, it now does 70 miles an hour. Its in excellent shape! Come And Take It! |

Its in excellent shape! I was riding the crappy but fun taco mini bikes. They're being made again and they are SO much better built now. [link to d3ciwvs59ifrt8.cloudfront.net (secure)] |

(OP) User ID: 78226251 United States 03/08/2020 08:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I Thank You all kindly for your kind words and the reception the thread has had, I wasn't expecting it. I would have liked to have replied to some of the comments but this a.m., shortly after I posted it, I was "bannoned" for gawd knows why, I don't know... folks who hate 1978 or something? And the nasty comments about 5'12", I had forgotten to clarify. I was, at 12, all of 5 feet, 11 & 1/2 inches tall, and still am. When I was 12 though, once, because I was a kid and was tall, I wanted to be taller, so as a mistake once, I said, "I'm 5 foot 12!" (trying to round off the #, I guess) and the joke became, at 12, 'hey, here comes 5 foot 12!" I am sorry if it caused such a discord among some replying. It's almost as if it was the crime of the century or something. I started this thread because it seems we are living in very distressed times as of these last couple of months, both on here and in the real world. My heart & soul yearns for a time of innocence for me, a time of fun, of life, of living, not death and disease.. Yeah, go ahead, call me melancholy for those times, I AM! I want our lives to be simpler again, I am older now and things seem just too complicated to deal with anymore, I want my "Next Stop, WILLOUGHBY," like the famous old Twilight Zone episode, where the man yearns for his childhood in ca. 1900 America, a simpler, carefree time for him growing up, as he approaches old age in the late 1950's. It is such an important feeling for those of us who feel it. I guess I am feeling it now, more than ever. 1978 is MY Willoughby. John Titor 911 |

And what does the Lord ask of you, but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly before your God? |
