Mine is kind of not too much different from normal. Been working outside a lot today. I'm actually going to plant sweet corn this year. Such a consumer of space I usually don't plant it. But...we may very well have to have it this year, so going to do it in a different place in the yard.

Honestly, I have more than enough to do, so corn teen isn't going to be boring.

We are going to have a sit down family meeting about it on the 19th as "reevaluation" date. I think we're staying in this mode.

I have prepped, but am still working. I have really noticed just how much snack food I eat. That's not going to cut it in a long quarantine.

I'm making my own potato chips tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.

For the uninitiated it tastes similar to poppy seed filling. You could use it to fill jam cookies or kolache.

Found a great recipe for the sugar cookie exterior last week. Used Solo apricot filling but Chinese red bean paste would also work as well.

So, actual quarantine is lame.

With all of the, "but you can go out for this, this and this" people are still going out more than I used to on an average week.

Meanwhile, the furthest I've been from the house in weeks is the mailbox.

I feel like they're not even trying.

It's almost like people don't know what corn teen means.

We are at 98%. Meaning, we still go to the dairy down the road for the things to feed their calves that we effectively share crop, and that my hubby still goes to the neighbor's house to finish a job. So contact here is plus 1.

Other than potential surfaces that may be contaminated.

I wore a mask and gloves to milk cows. Lol. Freaking hilarious. But I don't know who my fellow worker has been around at all.

we know what's going on. so does gov but they are slow rolling the sheep. anything to keep the herd from panicking as long as possible.

we have 3 houses on this 5 acres. the other two are total sheep, refuse to listen to anything. they're out getting plastered tonight because the bars close tomorrow.

I will say one thing.

At least people respect the "just leave the package at the door" sign now that quarantine is official.

Before that I got a lot of blank stares and a constantly ringing doorbell.

If people annoy me I just cough and watch them leave. :D
