I change location frequently. It's a habit I'm trying to break but a hard one to break successfully.

Delivery guy insisted someone had to sign for package, so I opened the door and signed.

Don't have Lysol, so I sprayed the front hall down with the cheapest most alcohol-heavy perfume I have.

I now have a migraine and its not CoV's fault.

Jeez. People mucking up your corn teen!

Mine is kind of not too much different from normal. Been working outside a lot today. I'm actually going to plant sweet corn this year. Such a consumer of space I usually don't plant it. But...we may very well have to have it this year, so going to do it in a different place in the yard.

Honestly, I have more than enough to do, so corn teen isn't going to be boring.

We are going to have a sit down family meeting about it on the 19th as "reevaluation" date. I think we're staying in this mode.

I have prepped, but am still working. I have really noticed just how much snack food I eat. That's not going to cut it in a long quarantine.

They were decent.

I was eating them as fast as they came out of the pan. rockon

The secret, apparently, is to season the oil and make the potatoes paper thin.

"If you're bored of eating beans...try turning them into dessert (seriously).

Red bean buns are good. I used to get them in China Town, but now I think I'll just make them at home... forever.

Thank you so very much. LOVE Chinese red bean paste.

For the uninitiated it tastes similar to poppy seed filling. You could use it to fill jam cookies or kolache.

Found a great recipe for the sugar cookie exterior last week. Used Solo apricot filling but Chinese red bean paste would also work as well.

"What are Chinese red beans?
Red beans also know as Adzuki beans, are widely used in Chinese cuisine (also in Japanese and Korean cuisine).

They are red in color like red kidney beans but quite small in size (slightly bigger than mung beans. They measure about 8mm).

Are red beans and kidney beans the same thing?

No, red beans and kidney beans are actually different types of beans. ... Red beans are smaller and rounder (like pinto beans), but red in color.

However, these beans still are fairly similar and can generally be used interchangeably in recipes that call for either dried or canned beans.

So, actual quarantine is lame.

With all of the, "but you can go out for this, this and this" people are still going out more than I used to on an average week.

Meanwhile, the furthest I've been from the house in weeks is the mailbox.

I feel like they're not even trying.

It's almost like people don't know what corn teen means.

We are at 98%. Meaning, we still go to the dairy down the road for the things to feed their calves that we effectively share crop, and that my hubby still goes to the neighbor's house to finish a job. So contact here is plus 1.

Other than potential surfaces that may be contaminated.

I wore a mask and gloves to milk cows. Lol. Freaking hilarious. But I don't know who my fellow worker has been around at all.

we know what's going on. so does gov but they are slow rolling the sheep. anything to keep the herd from panicking as long as possible.

soon enough they will understand, sadly

we have 3 houses on this 5 acres. the other two are total sheep, refuse to listen to anything. they're out getting plastered tonight because the bars close tomorrow.

i've had a self q-tine sign on my door since Jan 29th ... doesn't phase them at all ... frustrating

I will say one thing.

At least people respect the "just leave the package at the door" sign now that quarantine is official.

Before that I got a lot of blank stares and a constantly ringing doorbell.

I genuinely have always hated banana bread, but in a quarantine it magically tastes like heaven.

Red been paste mixed with agar was used as a substitute for donkey skin gelatin just like the tootsie pop used a caramel center to replace the pickled plum
