Oh it's definitely a coded message. We have the literal manifestation with a deadly virus with a strong metaphorical/symbolic message encoded via ritual.

Parker started off coming on stage saying, “ I’ve waited for this night for a long time.“ Their whole video imagery on the jumboscreen behind the main stage was of a giant corona ball with spikes of energy coming out of it, hurling towards wherever, sometime multiplied. I kid you not. Look up the kids’ social media postings on the concert.
