I challenge you to know God. Not learn about God and hear of God but to know God personally. Seek to know God as your main goal and desire and you will find him. Once who know him then he will help you clear everything up when he gives you understanding. Until then, everything else doesn't matter, it shouldn't to you, because all you're doing is talking around God but you can know him personally. Don't you want that, to know the truth of God? You can, and you should.

Op Lucifer started out as an angel. His job was to bring the light metaphorically speaking.

He was loved by God and was given more and more power until he became obsessed with power and set out to de-throne God. He was then kicked out of heaven with two thirds of his angels.

To me it seems 'light' must have some type of etymological relation to 'knowledge' As the entity we refer to as satan was most known for his stance of wanting to teach Humans all things all at once (rather than allowing them to learn slowly over time)
