i was looking for this post because the 'hype' already seems to calm down in many places.

i noticed our newspapers not being covered with it anymore.
radio is back to talking about dumb stuff like soccer or the british royals.
its not longer the most visited sub on Reddit.
panic buying never even started here.

and all i wanted was 2 weeks off. id be okay with no free netflix (dont watch the lgbtq trash anyway) and im totally fine with paying my rent.

i still got some hope tho. Half life is released in 2 weeks so it would be nice to get free-paid-leave instead of using my own paid-leave-days. :)

and you know why??
pretty simple. even with 500 infected people in the netherlands now (hardly anything) you dont even hear about those that have it but dont die. i mean it really seems like only people that are already at a big risk of dieing suffer form this. or better yet. it aids them in finding death faster than they otherwise might have.
but you dont hear about how terrible those 500 people have it.
better yet they tested all the staff of one hospital over here and 4% turned out to have it. without even feeling sick.

so yea. i mean i still worry more about just using public transport and choking on candy tbh.
