(OP) User ID: 73724632 United States 03/12/2020 12:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It's my husband's cousin so just him and his wife at home. All the kids are adults now and on their own. He's a doctor so he probably caught it off a patient. Anyway, he's just got what seems like a cold or mild flu. He says he expects to be sick about a week. His wife does not have it yet. We have had other cousins who were sick earlier - this cousin's sister and husband, but they're better now. Don't know if it was CV with them. He's gonna be fine, whole family will be fine. We're just concerned about an elderly aunt, keeping her isolated from this as we would any cold or flu. That's it. This thing is WAYYYYYYYYY overblown. Which is why my thread is on the 2nd page now. No one actually wants to read about real cases that are......nothing. |

My husband's cousin, who is a doctor in the NYC area, has tested positive for CV. He's in his 60s, in good health, and he's had a mild case of the sniffles, runny nose, fever. Quoting: Blue State Rebel AND THAT'S ALL. His wife, whom he lives with of course, has nothing. I don't know if she's been tested yet but she's had no symptoms so far. This is what I've been saying all along. COVID-19 is just a VARIANT OF SEASONAL FLU. WE'VE ALL BEEN PLAYED. Most people are gonna have mild symptoms, then recover. Some people they live with may not get it at all. I finally have the proof in my own family. And we're gonna be fine. The only person we really want to protect is his elderly mom, so no visits to her. Important info you left out. 1.How long has he had symptoms? 2.When was he tested? 3.What is he doing to prevent the final stage of Pneumonia? |

About 3 weeks ago my parents (60’s) and my wife and I (mid 30’s) had very similar symptoms. The only difference from seasonal flu, was the the mild symptoms did not want to subside. They lasted a good 3 weeks (for all 4 of us). We are all very healthy, and due to consistent baking soda use, a flu is usually no more than a few days with no signs of a fever. In the 3 weeks we all had this last flu, we all had either 1-2 days of fever. I’d say those with compromised immune systems, or just in poor health in general are those that are at real risk. Still this whole thing seems to be quite overblown. Good luck to all. |
