Re: My son has COVID-19. He lives in SF
If he wasn't tested, he said he'd never suspect he had it.

BTW: He's 42 yrs. old
 Quoting: JanJan

So that means thousands of people are like this case or Rudy Gobert running around ignoring all the fuss and never getting tested.

Once the symptoms fade they would test negative I guess?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78322562

My son wasn't running around. He and his family had WF deliver groceries even.

I sent him the vitamins that Trin recommended via Amazon.

However, I'm sure there are tons of people running around w/it with the same symptoms he has and think nothing of it

There is a reason I ask.

According to his wife and three kids, he's not.

And raising him through his teen years, he's not.

Yeah - there's the S and L, I believe it's called.

The L is worse.

I'll ask him when I call him this morning. Still really early in CA
 Quoting: JanJan

How many days since infection now?
 Quoting: ^TrInItY^

14 days. He had to wait that length of time before he 'qualified to be tested. Not sure what the criteria are for that.

I'll ask him more today.

When he called last night, I was gob smacked.

I freaked out after I got off the phone w/him .
 Quoting: JanJan

I think the supplements will help him.

You just have to try to prevent if from getting a foothold in your lungs..

Don't forget the 'clear lungs'....

Suck on vitamin C gummies if he can find them too...

Try to keep it at the back of the throat..

It takes hold there and grows...
 Quoting: ^TrInItY^

He attributes not feeling as bad as he could have by taking them. He takes the C twice a day - calls them 'loogies' and the copper once a day.

His wife is taking them also.

I'll tell him about the gummies.

And, THANK YOU for the vitamin rec. Deeply appreciated!

We ALL have it now. it takes 6 months before it shows signs! the first 5 months it hides from all tests.

IF you assume everyone has it including yourself....it kinda takes the panic away! :)

For the life of me, I can't find how long a person is sick with it. From worst case scenario to best case. Just how long it takes to incubate. Does anyone know?
 Quoting: JanJan

14 days is the average incubation period I believe.. Followed by another week with onset of major symptoms.

I think if you can get past the initial onslaught you will make it.

He was at the conference in SF where the guy who had to be flown to CT and is in a medically induced coma.

My son's symptoms are:

Mild sniffles
Stiff neck
Feeling run down.

NO: Fever, or aches and pains.

It took a week before he was deemed 'qualified' to be tested.

Then it took 5 days for the results to come back.

He'll go back for testing to see if he's stopped 'shedding' the virus.

I sent him the liposome vitamin C that Trin recommended along w/the copper.

Just wanted to let you all know what's up.

You help me with all the valuable info, so ....

Praying that Rob recovers quickly
 Quoting: JanJan

If he starts getting really bad headaches or avoiding bright lights, it might be meningitis because 'stiff neck' isn't a sign of CV.
 Quoting: keybored

He thought it was b/c of the way he slept. It lasted a couple of days and is gone.

That's exactly what thought initially, but he had no fever.

Sounds like what I have right now, minus the stiff neck, add mild sore throat and mild cough. I had attributed it to allergies. Started about a week ago.

I know people think that if a guy lives in SF he's gay.

He knows that too and finds it to be a pain in the ass, but understandable.

He can't wait to get the hell out of there. It's a cesspool.

Wants to move to Austin to be near his sister and her family.

BTW: The man who was flown to Danbury hospital, a software engineer in Rob's company, had a history of pneumonia. So, that person had a bad preexisting condition.

The company is a cybersecurity company in SF and the guy in the coma, the software engineer and his family lives in Wilton CT. His wife just had twins a couple of months ago. What a shit storm it is for that poor family

Three other people at his company tested positive.

Everyone in the company is working from home when it was found out that guy came down with it. About a week now.

All in SF

Add to list
Baking soda 1 tsp to 1 tbs
And gargle 4 or 5 times a day

May want to add ACV
 Quoting: Red Shoes

I’ve been saying this from the beginning. Been using the treatment for years. It works!

But instead of gargling it, mix 1tsp with 6-8oz of water and a small dollop of maple syrup. Mix it all until fully dissolved, and drink it at least once a day (twice a day if something more problematic). It will kill just about anything that isn’t supposed to be there (that loves sugar, but sodium bicarbonate not so much). I weigh 230lbs, so maybe a little less baking soda if you weigh less...tastes like crap, but you get used to it.

Been doing this for years after curing a deep ear infection that wouldn’t go away (suspected oral cancer), and haven’t stopped since. Each time I’ve felt an illness coming on I do this, and haven’t been sick for more than a day in 30 years.

My grandfather and great grandfather did it religiously every day, and both lived into their 90’s (which was unheard of in my great grandfather’s day). Neither of them ever touched modern meds...
