The aisle with cleaning products looked sparse also.
I didnt want to stay in there so i didnt take inventory..

I think the its only a matter of time before the stores clear right out.

Its an elaborate hoax if all these countries of the world agreed to fool you with fake flu virus scare monger. But truth is, the damage is already done!
In case you havent noticed the meltdown in the world indexes and the disappearance of things you will need just to live day to day from stores everywhere.
Supply lines have been destroyed, markets crashing and economies grinding to a halt.
Things are becoming more severely unhinged by the moment.

Yesterday was the first day I witnessed shortages at a 2 grocery stores.
Almost all peanut butter out, canned fish on sale all gone, rice, beans section shelves almost bare, pasta sauces way less than usual.

Agreed. It doesn't matter what you believe or don't believe. You have to match the craziness of the crazy people at this point just to get your standard amount of groceries whether you buy into it or not. The panic is real and I don't want to wipe my ass with my hand. At this point, I'm not ready to break into any of my preps...way too early.

my sister was at a small town grocery store this morning genesee county michigan...she heard the butcher say we are the only store in genesee county with meat

--- I cleaned out Gatorade. and V8 drinks with electrolytes. new. Gatorade was low at both stores.
--- extra pallets of drinkable water.
--- in fact I already seen pallets to replace. so evidently the stores already know or have seen supplies running low.
--- toilet paper. eff that. find baby wipes.


I check food the next few days, and continue with Gatorade and water.

I told my wife, Prices for everything and I mean everything. right now the cheapest they will ever be. price will eventually rise.

we save money. but being careful and buying essentials items that we already use. but could become scarce if the spiral continues down. and could become helpful.

and I do not want to be running around looking for supplies when every else is sick. which could be right now..

Akron/Fairlawn area.... son went out no tp at a target or the giant eagle..those sailed wiped clean... freezer food is also starting to get thin... spaghetti aisles of a few stores was wiped clean also my neighbor said at the Walmart. A lot of stores have signs up limiting goods.. buelhers grocery store has hardly any meat in wadsworth. Right now son said no parking in a huge parking at the grocery store with people beeping the horns and arguments in parking lots. Meat is looking very dismal in this area..

Wow! Thanks. We got it for headaches, bumps, bruises, etc. but good to know about the covid connection.

Mostly got it because the chi coms are threatening to stop shipping it, and they supply like 80% of our ibuprofen.

Both out of soap, hand sanitizer, bleach.

Quiet panic buying in eastern Ontario...manager at one large grocery store said since yesterday...after they cancelled NBA & NHL games, and announced schools closed until April 5th.

Empty of large bags of flour and yeast(!).

Canadians a practical people.

Still N95 s available at farm supply; hardware stores out.

Mine was empty last night, full this morning...

South Michigan. Our stores never run low. Ever. Went last night, shelves emptying out. People acting like retards. ALREADY. So just imagine when shit gets bad.... people are going to lose their marbles. Coming soon.

Oh, and a run on frozen crap food, mostly pizza. That aisle was obliterated.

So I panic bought hot pockets to break up the monotony of our canned stuff. High calorie, easy, different.

Costco in Columbus, Ohio opened at 10am. By 920am the line wrapped around the building. 1 TP or paper towel per card holder. Employees were loading stacks of 3-4 packs of toilet paper to their own cars.

I had to go grab some stuff for our office. Really glad my house is already stocked up on everything needed. People are bat shit crazy right now.

Saw a woman punch another woman over lysol at a Lowes last night. Entertaining but unnecessary

Is anybody else using Walmart's online shopping option and picking it up at the store? The one we go to will load it into the back of our truck without us even getting out. Sam's will do this too.

I work at a publix in florida. We got hit hard yesterday. No t.p. running low on water. Just pulled up. Its busy as fuck

I want hazard pay lol

I just got back from my local walmart here in Lafourche Parish Louisiana. I was picking up a few preps that I had neglected like snacks, comfort foods etc. I am well prepped but apparently the panic shopping is hitting this area hard.

TP is gone completely, paper towels were down to a few individual rolls and twin packs. All cough and cold medicine gone, alcohol gone, lysol wipes and brown bottle lysol gone. Bleach gone, rice and beans are mostly wiped out, I only saw a few 1lb bags of rice and all the big bags of beans are gone only 1lb packages still there. Individual-sized bottled water is gone and they only had two 5 gallon jugs left.

Here in Louisiana as of this morning we had 19 presumptively positive cases with most being in the New Orleans area. We do have one case so far in my parish and that patient is in the hospital less than 20 miles from my home. The scary part is none of the cases appear to be from travel either to international hot spots or US states that are seeing community spread. 4 of the NOLA cases are in a senior care facility that has mostly elderly people who also have serious health conditions. I expect most if not all residents will eventually test positive and I expect most of those to die due to age and underlying health conditions. I am pretty sure that the crowds in town for Mardi Gras a few weeks back is what caused the virus to show up in NOLA and enough were infected to cause community spread.

Northern Indiana here. Stores (Walmart/Kroger’s) were decimated yesterday/last night. Out of many items. Saw photos on FB, luckily I didn’t have to venture out into the hordes. Saw this coming weeks ago thanks to the fine folks at GLP.

I’m with you, but it’s a huge deal to my tween kids! That gif is pretty accurate.

Chicken was almost gone and some of the expense water was still left

going to get worse after 5pm when people get home, and since its Friday, people were waiting for paychecks

went over to my East Los Angeles meat market - they had toilet paper, paper towels, everything like no one knew to look there, place was empty

people in line were eerily quiet, not talking on their phones, just looking at each other
