You truck drivers are the first line of defense. when the trucks stop moving.. the food, medicine, everything else we need to survive. all the glory goes to military and some pos police and fire who do nothing but set on their ass and gloat all day with bloated pensions.

Just think around LA, how many areas can support many 70 feet long trucks for us to stop to use the restroom???

Thank you for sharing this info. This is very concerning news, considering truck drivers are who keep this country running.

I would suggest if the receivers do not let you use necessary services, or treat you as subhuman during your interaction with them- refuse to deliver the goods. Sell the goods to the public instead or find another customer who understands where their bread, butter and toilet paper actually come from.

How are drivers going to catch the virus? They're alone in their cabs almost all of the time.

We use public restrooms that's probably the worst.

There is paperwork exchanged. Others loading our trailers etc.

I would say restrooms are the worst.
Mainly being a lot of them only have hand blow dryers and there's no way in hell I'm touching the door handle in there.
Soo have to use toilet paper to open the door handle, so even that too is contributing to the toilet paper Doom lol.

You do that and you'll lose your job or go to jail.

Company I work for locked the damn warehouse doors and we can’t let them in the building even. Paper work thru the door... nope you can’t use bathroom.

I'm thinking I need to make as much money as I can while I still can.
All these places, businesses shutting down etc only a matter of time until there is not enough work for truck drivers.

Not only that... Look at what's going on at the stores.

I am a decent human being denied the right to a restroom at a place of business.
It's not right.

Here's the thing you need to consider and think about. I don't know if you drive for a mega carrier or not, but they have strict rules about not carrying weapons in the truck. You are basically limited to using tools as weapons to be in compliance with their policies. Of course we know that some drivers pack heat on the sly, but most don't.

As society continues to deteriorate, and it will by all indications, it's going to get sketchy out there on the open road. I can't think of a worse place to be, in a truck with no supplies or weapons to defend yourself from marauders who want to take your diesel or whatever else you might have. Of course, you will have long abandoned your truck and will be trying to get home anyway, but how successful will you be when you are a thousand miles away from home base?

Everything is shutting down, take heed to that. It's not worth a lousy 40 cents a mile to keep the company afloat. You know the DM's and planners are probably going to work from home ASAP. Not sure if orientations are being cancelled or not.

I ate my ticket back to the USA from Asia because I know what's coming and I don't want to be caught flat footed. This is real.

I feel bad for the truckers. Things are going to get real slow and very cutthroat soon. Loads are not going to be plentiful again for awhile.

That is when you crap or pee in a bag and then dump it out in those companies parking lots....an hopefully they dont have camera to catch you at it.

I work at xpo where I check you guys in. You have zero respect for our building and leave trash everywhere. Believe me when I say we don’t want you in our bathrooms

Melted chocolate on the floods, chip bags, spit, half drank bottles, Leave broken pallets and nails all over and etc. I'm left cleaning up all your shit you leave in our trailers before going to the next customer.

I always like hearing others are clean germaphobes like myself. Kick the door open, take toilet paper & put it under armpit for when you leave. Do your business, wash hands, use tp to open the door & then try to throw it in the can. Some places now put garbage cans OUTSIDE the restrooms.
