I received an email from my doctor that said it would be best for anyone with lung issues to self quarantine to for their own safety, so I am doing it, not because I am a sheep who listens to everyone, but because I have no death wish. I have asthma too. So would be best to keep your grandchild at home. I read that vitamin D3 is important to take right now, so consider that. |

We took him to his doctor recently because of his severe asthma and the doctor told us flat out because of his condition he is much more susceptible than most facing this virus. Please pray for us too. My son's closest friend at school came down with a fever and cough today. I've actually been mildly ill with a cold for a couple weeks now and already have a taxed immune system, asthma and a very bad comorbid condition. My son has the same condition, and his father is so high risk he's guaranteed hospital time. I've been begging the school district for alternate plans for three weeks and they've done nothing. They didn't even return my phone calls and emails, and they are now one of the only schools left in town still open. This will likely change when they find out about my son's best friend, who is also a student at the school. But it's this hard-headedness that got us here :( be well and bless your grandbabies |
