Gas station intel - 1 dead in Grand Rapids, MI from Covid 19

I just got back from topping off the gas tank. The cashier was telling me a friend of hers is an ER nurse at a local hospital. An older couple came in this morning to the ER with COVID19, the husband has already passed and the wife is in ICU. I have no way of verifying her story, I've been looking for it in the news but have not found anything.

It could be bullshit, but then again maybe not.
