I've been home for the past 5 days. Going to walk through the woods tomorrow to avoid everyone and make a nice time of it to get to my work and pick up a few items, and then I can work from home for a long time. I'm fortunate in that regard. I will make a bit less money working from home, but grateful that I am in the situation that I am.

I'm technically a self employed independent contractor, so don't qualify for any of the relief funds that may be available most likely, and self employed people DO tend to get screwed, but at the moment I have more work available to me than many others whose jobs are shut down, so I feel fortunate.

I retired from my electrician job at age 32 back in October. Everyone thought I was crazy, but I knew before this election things were going to get bad.

I work in Food manufacturing, we make snack cakes/ETC in a county where we have 10+ cases. Im shocked we havent closed yet, once we get the first cough in the factory Im betting the entire plant shuts down. Im using my accrued sick leave.

I am really fortunate. I'm retired from teaching and now have a full-time job making art. I have a studio in an apartment building we own and I go there every day as if I'm punching a time clock. I need structure. I will work tomorrow but I will be distancing myself from any close interaction with the tenants. I have an autoimmune disease and both my husband and I are nearly 70. So, we are self-quarantining.
