Postponed to 3:30 PM EST: Trump URGENT White House Press Conference from the Briefing Room

Yesterday pence promised a curfew and restriction guidelines in the morning (today, this morning) with a task force meeting in the afternoon.
He has pushed everything to this afternoon. Not a good sign.

Cuomo just spent the best part of this morning conditioning everyone for what is coming.

3:30pm, means he wont start till 4pm as they are always 30-45 minutes late consistently.. Just like his actions and response to this virus.. It pisses me off, that when you had un-believeable responses like south korea, Japan and Singapore who are doing a hell of job, without any school closing or quarantine why didn't we do such a job.. him and his team dropped the ball on getting adequate testing and contact test the hell out of the country, then isolate and quarantine those people.. yes its using resources and as the number of people go up your economy crashes.. well the economy has still crashed and now we are all fuc$3ed on top of it.. this is endemic, peoples life expectancy will be dramatically cut short, quality of life will be horrible, and the market will still crash.. so yes get used to getting all these 4pm news updates..

Trump as a leader had the ability to put measures in place back in January to stop the spread.

Instead, he did nothing except say "its just a flu", "its a hoax", "its under control", "our numbers are low".

Thats called failed leadership. Thats called bad decision-making.


People are turning on Trump because he failed. Love him or hate him, he failed. And failures are not excusable, especially when they lead to deaths of citizens ... which all could have been prevented. But egos and boasting got in the way. Now the public pays the price.

Not one person on here can honestly say that they personally know someone with this, I would and can not say that it's not real but i can say just by shear math that it's definitely not a epidemic, The only true epidemic is the fear now , again I don't really understand when the news started to tell the truth to you all

I'm hearing rumors of quarantine or lockdown being announced.

He has only had flu once in his life. He's never had anything else. He's not one to get sick, ever.

What makes this different is that he's home-schooled, has not interacted with anyone except my wife and I in the last month and half (and we both work from home). We took extra precautions two weeks ago and we perma-locked down last Thursday.

So the only way he could of caught anything was through us.

We're monitoring his symptoms closely and we're extra-vigilant observing ourselves to see if we have any symptoms show up either.

What industries would be allowed to stay open? Those involving food? how about pet food?
