User ID: 28178764 United States 03/16/2020 01:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am in Brazoria County, TX. Just returned from feed store where I bought more hay, dog food, cat food, and some animal meds. I did not want to be in the situation where I would have to put some of my dogs down because they are starving. Ditto my tom cats. Hint for last minute preps: I don't care if you live in a city. If you have even a patio, you can buy a small cage with a few chickens or rabbits. Chickens eat almost anything and produce eggs. In a pinch you can grind the millet in the scratch grain chicken feed and make flour for flat breads. You can also plant millet if you have even a small lawn. Millet is a very hardy grain that grows in poor soil and is drought-tolerant. Oh yeah, and screw the city regs and HOAs. |
