Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78633179 They just gonna keep you alive longer in this evil world. Store up supplies for Heaven. Pray to God. I'm reminded of the parable that Jesus told about the bloke that was so confident that he had his old barns torn down and new ones built to store his grain and he was rejoicing in this. AND THEN...... His soul was required of him. |

We even got a 5 kilo of jasmine rice. Quoting: Miss Bunny Swan Here in Australia, people have much smaller stuff than America. The paper towels are smaller, the ovens, the cabinets. We are wondering how long the panic buying will go on, with this space issue the vast majority of people here have. We went to the store, 2 stores, 2 days in a row, 2 days ago. It was fascinating to see the difference between Saturday and Sunday as far as products available at the stores. Luckily I read glp and told my people we need to go back and get meat and eggs. By Sunday most meat was gone. All the bread was gone. We went to the liquor store for wine last night (my boyfriend knows how to keep me happy) and it was bizarre. Empty streets, no one else shopping at the bottle shop. The cashier looked scared. I’m not sure why, but I feel good. It’s gonna be ok. Hopefully all the governments will wise up and bail out the average folk, bail out our bills, not these huge corporations. We need to concentrate on what’s important, each other. Bless you Miss Bunny Swan! |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78230227 There is a calming comfort in being prepared. Knowing I am as safe as I can be and I'm even in a position to help others (if I choose to). Asked about getting surgery. The reading was about grace and perseverance. Day started with so much hope. Was scheduled for back surgery, went to pre-surgery appointment this morning. Found out they were canceling all surgeries because of the coronavirus. Then sister calls, says mom is in emergency room. She was fine yesterday, then respiratory failure and gone. Supplies are all fine and good but treasure each other. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. —John 1:5 |
